Stemulite and the FDA

There are some sites online that are leading people to believe that Stemulite is FDA approved. This is false! The maker of stemulite does not make any indication that stemulite is FDA approved.

This product has not yet been officially approved by the FDA.

But – more important – it hasn’t been disapproved either.

Contrary to popular belief, the FDA doesn’t examine every single supplement that enters the marketplace. What happens is that the FDA looks into the products that have been getting complaints for being unsafe.

Here’s something most people are completely unaware of …

The FDA does not have to approve supplements!

Just look at what the FDA has to say:

“FDA regulates dietary supplements under a different set of regulations than those covering “conventional” foods and drug products (prescription and Over-the-Counter).

Under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA), the dietary supplement manufacturer is responsible for ensuring that a dietary supplement is safe before it is marketed.

FDA is responsible for taking action against any unsafe dietary supplement product after it reaches the market.

Generally, manufacturers do not need to register their products with FDA nor get FDA approval before producing or selling dietary supplements. Manufacturers must make sure that product label information is truthful and not misleading.”

The manufacturers of Stemulite did indeed do their homework in making sure it was safe before they introduced it to the market.

Although Stemulite is not officially FDA approved, ALL of the ingredients in Stemulite are deemed “GRAS” or Generally Regarded As Safe by the FDA.

And that’s about as close as any supplement will get to FDA approval.

So if you have been planning on taking Stemulite, you can rest assured it’s safe. There have not been negative reactions reported about this natural product.

(Please heed the warning label about NOT taking Stemulite if you are allergic to mushrooms. Mushrooms are involved in the proprietary process of making the ingredients. That’s all I’m allowed to tell you, though.)
