Stemulite question from John:
Could you tell me if this has any effects on your prostate?
The answer straight from Dr. Summers:
Stemulite could have beneficial effect on the prostate in two ways:
(1) Because Stemulite contains 600 mg/day of alpha lipoic acid and 50 mg/day quercetin you have perhaps the strongest antioxidant effect you can get in a pill. Anti oxidants are powerful down regulators to inflammation. An enlarged prostate is usually inflamed.
(2) Stemulite contains a potent enzyme that breaks down congestion (enlarged prostate = congested prostate) and removes the static fluids via the circulation and lymph systems.
Additionally, Stemulite contains eggplant extract which has high levels of beta carotene, and the mushroom extract contains high levels of beta glucan, both known to benefit prostatitis.

Is it ok to breastfeed while taking Stemulite?
Breastfeeding mom
Nope, sorry. The company recommends that breastfeeding moms NOT take Stemulite. – Stephen
I am thinking of starting on Stemulite define fitness for women. The only problem that I am having, is that I am taking bioidentical hormones. I heard Dr. summer said that this product has a natural estrogen in it like the one I am taking. Will it increase my hormone levels or interefere with what I am taking? Also does Stemulite have caffeine in it? Why does it have dextose in the product I thought Dr. Summer said it was all natural? What are the ingredients in it anyway, Can you email that to me also, I would like to know before I buy this product. I have friends that are also interested in this, they would like to know also.
Thank you,
Nydia P Hinson
Hi, Nydia -
Please consult your doctor about your hormone issues.
There’s no dextrose in Stemulite. Here’s what Dr. Summers has to say about the sugar content:
“Well there’s no sugar in Stemulite. The Beta Glucan is a polysaccharide, a sugar protein complex, but it’s not the type of sugar that we generally think of. It’s a polysaccharide and it binds on the protein and that’s what stimulates the immune system.”

Nope, no dextrose. But just for your edification …
Dextrose is natural; here’s the “Definition of Dextrose” from MedicineNet.com:
“Dextrose: Better known today as glucose, this sugar is the chief source of energy in the body. Glucose is chemically considered a simple sugar. It is the main sugar that the body manufactures. The body makes glucose from all three elements of food, protein, fat and carbohydrates, but in largest part from carbohydrates. Glucose serves as the major source of energy for living cells.”
