Shoulder Pain? Check this out …

Although I’m still a little ticked :-) that he hasn’t written an article for this blog ( …yet), but since Chris wrote such an intelligent comment about a Stemulite post (you know, the comment that starts, “Good answer, Stephen” - That’s a good way to get my attention), I decided to share this video about the Rotater (yep, I spelled it “right”), a great shoulder stretching device for us baby boomers.

(Can you believe that was only one sentence? My English teacher would kill me.)

If you’re a golfer, make sure you look at this article, The Importance of Shoulder Flexibility in the Golf Swing.

I had the pleasure of doing a movement assessment screen one of their subjects, Damon Lucas, at a Golf Conditioning seminar recently. Damon’s shoulder flexibility was certainly not an issue. (He did need a little more transverse plane , though.)

Speaking of golf…

I’ll soon be writing for Golf Fitness Magazine (offline and, apparently, online), so be sure to grab a subscription now so you don’t miss out on my golf fitness advice.

(Psst, Chris and Scott, don’t you know you’re supposed to supply us power bloggers/media moguls with free samples? The green would do just fine, thank very much. :-)

Hey - that’s the Rotater video. Thanks for the taking a look at the Rotater, Stephen. We are thrilled that you’ve written an article about our shoulder rehab and stretching device.

We met Damon Lucas in Orlando at the PGA expo. He is an extraordinarily personable golf professional. He tried the Rotater and recognized the benefits for a golfer to being able to stretch and increase external rotation right away. I hope to get some more scientific feedback from Damon in the near future.

We’ve got some other “big” names using the Rotater and hope to be able to reveal those names soon as well. Thanks for the surprise.

My Dad has arthritis which plays up now and then especially in the winter. After I told him to try this he said it definitely helped him be able to rotate further without feeling the pain. I guess it just loosens up the muscles used for the golf swing/rotation, sort of like a golf fitness workout.

Anyway it worked a treat and I’m going to try it!

    Thanks!
