Stemulite Side Effects

by Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro

I get questions every day asking about possible side effects of Stemulite.

Even though Stemulite is all-natural, there are side effects to literally everything when enough people try it. Hell, you can even drink too much water! (It’s called hyponatremia.)

When you look at the label of Stemulite ingredients, you’ll even see the warning, “Do Not Take If You Are Allergic to Mushrooms!”

So here’s a question from one of your fellow readers:

Q: I’ve been taking Stemulite for about a week. I’m a 46 year old female. My heart is racing all the time.

Here’s advice straight from Dr. Summers (who is not a medical doctor, if I haven’t made that clear by now)

I have found only one report of tachycardia [faster than normal heart rate] related to the use of either alpha lipoic acid or L-carnitine [two of the Stemulite ingredients] in the literature. In fact, both are considered to somewhat anti-arrhythmic.

What is likely happening is the increase potential of the electron transport chain (ETC) in the mitochondria of the heart is putting more energy into the cells than it can utilize.

Older mitochondria get “leaky” and this allows the electrons to spill out. One way to down regulate this condition and still utilize the benefits of ™ is to take at least 1000 mg of Vitamin C twice a day along with the supplement. The vitamin C should soak up the excess electron charge.

Another suggestion is to cut the dose in half and see if that works.  If not, stop taking the supplement altogether and see your doctor.

I just received my first order of stemulite. The instructions on the bottles differ from those on the web-site. What is the best way way to take the product?

Stephen Holt March 10, 2008 at 9:39 pm

Hi, Emanuel -
I started writing out your answer, but it turned into an entire post.

I’ll put it up tomorrow. Thanks.

Hi, im interested in taking stemulite but i guess im a little leary of short term and long term side effects. Everywhere I look online all I keep seeing is about how great it is. I was also wondering if the FDA has approved the supplement. Thanks in advance.

I am so far interested in taking this supplement. As of right now I feel I am not being informed well enough on what the actual side effects are… I am 18 and was wondering what the actual short and long term effects are!

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro October 21, 2008 at 10:52 am

Stemulite is not a drug. There are no known (I have to cover myself!) side effects - unless you are allergic to mushrooms.

Frankly, I don’t understand why so many people are insisting on finding side effects that aren’t there. - Stephen

hey im a junior in high school who is looking for a muscle supplement, I have asked others and is this truly the best for me?

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro November 6, 2008 at 7:50 pm

The official word is that they don’t recommend anyone under 18 taking Stemulite without the prior approval of a health care professional. - Stephen

what happens when after a 3months of workout i decided to stop taking stemulite will this change anything ? is there a rest period from taking it, after a certain time ?

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro December 2, 2008 at 4:49 pm

There’s no reason to cycle Stemulite. Stop whenever you want. Many steroids work by promoting what’s called sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. This type of muscle growth goes away quickly after you stop taking the steroid.

Stemulite works by helping to promote myofibrillar hypertrophy. This type of muscle growth lasts far longer. - Stephen

I just order a month supply of stemulite. I always heard that steriods shrinks the male sex organ!!! Does stemulite have that side effect?

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro December 15, 2008 at 5:00 pm

Stemulite is not a steroid and has absolutely no negative side effects on the male sex organ.

No need to worry! - Stephen

I am thinking about taking this product. I take an anti-depression medication and have generalized anxiety disorder……will this product be ok with my depression/anxiety?

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro February 13, 2009 at 10:03 pm

Hi, Laura -
Obviously, I am legally obligated to ask you to consult with your doctor first.

You may also want to check the web for possible connections between indium, one of the ingredients in Stemulite, and anecdotal stories of alleviation of depression-like symptoms. (I think I’ve covered myself, huh?) - Stephen

I’ve read upon stemulite and am interesting in purchasing. Is stimulite safe to be stacked with other suppliments namely Nitrix by BSN, which the main ingredients are l-argenine AKG,l-agenine Ethyl Ester, and L-Citrulline. Thanks.

I am 25 yrs old i take a mens multi vitamin and im 5′ 10 242lbs iam wondering if stemulite is the choice to make.

Keenan March 6, 2009 at 4:13 am

Hi Stephen,

By the way I am deployed in Iraq right now, so any consult from your side can really help. I am not in a place to see my physician.
As I said earlier I have been using the product for 15 days including today, and for the past 2 days only I experiences low heart beat and hardness to breath, the first thing I did I checked online and started using the Vitamin C as you recommended. But my case is different than the lady with tachycardia. I am really happy with the results that I am noticing in 2 weeks but the heart issue is a little bit concerning me.
I would love to keep use the product and get the full results, but I need your advice on that matter.
Thanking you in advance.

Keenan

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro March 11, 2009 at 10:07 am

Hi, Keenan -
Sorry - especially since you’re helping us all by serving in Iraq AND you’re a fellow Keenan (Stephen is my middle name) - but because I’m not a physician I’m not even allowed to comment on your situation.

The only advice I can give you is to play it safe by discontinuing the use of Stemulite (keep it refrigerated, though, if you can) until you can get to see a doctor.

I wish you the best.

Brian April 1, 2009 at 8:42 pm

i am going to be 17 in a few days,
i realize that it is required to consult a physician before taking this for legal purposes, but is there any other reasons, such as negative side effects for someone so young, or less of a benefit?

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro April 2, 2009 at 9:13 am

Hi, Brian -
No, there’s nothing you have to worry about in terms of known negative side effects or less of a benefit.

Stemulite has not been tested in subjects under the age of 18, so they don’t have any definitive data either way.

It’s a legal disclaimer they’re required to say. And you’re required to abide (please). Thanks.

does stemulite make you bigger?

Stephen Holt, Stemulite Fitness Pro June 13, 2009 at 8:21 pm

I’m assuming you’re referring to making your muscles bigger. (I hope you forgive me for first assuming you were talking about certain body parts getting bigger. Sorry, but I get lots of spam.)

Stemulite, when combined with intense strength training, will increase the rate at which you build muscle both directly - by stimulating recruitment of adult stem cells - and indirectly - by improving your energy levels and rate of recovery from exercise. - Stephen
